Management Team Goals & Commitments

The U-Med Management Team’s commitment is to meet on a quarterly basis, and then as necessary. The Management Team serves as the nexus for:
  • disseminating information within each of their respective organizations,
  • supporting workgroups by developing structural procedures,
  • making collective recommendations to the U-Med Executives, and
  • thinking through strategic benefits of proposed actions and efforts

Management Team Goals

The Management Team’s Goals have a more overarching theme than each of the Workgroups.

1) Identify Criteria to Evaluate Success of U-Med Green District:
Developing quantifiable data is important

2) Recognize U-Med Green District Coordination Takes Resources:
Developing a budget to present to Executives by October 1, 2009

3) Prioritize Workgroup Goals, and by October 1, 2009
In collaboration with each workgroup, identify one goal to detail and exemplify potential benefits;
  • In collaboration with each workgroup, identify short-term/easy wins and long-term goals;
  • In collaboration with each workgroup, identify how resource requirements can be minimized while building U-Med capacity, enthusiasm and the desired outcomes.

4) Identify Next Steps and Challenges:
By June 15, 2009, Management Team members will meet with their respective Green Team (e.g. Executives and others) to:
  • Reconfirm which Workgroups have potential value to each organization
  • Reconfirm, or Identify and select, participants for each workgroup
  • Collectively consider what outcomes would be beneficial to each respective organization
  • Encourage and ensure others know when Workgroups are meeting
By September 20, 2009 Management Team members will meet with their respective Green Team (e.g. Executives and others) to:
  • Evaluate benefits of U-Med Green District participation in preparation for the next U-Med Executive Meeting, which is tentatively scheduled for October 1, 2009.
